RickyRay Robertson
Senior Pastor and founder of i-Church International
A fourth generation minister, RickyRay was born and raised in Texas and at a young age responded to the call of ministry on his life writing praise and worship songs and playing in bands. As a child, he could always be found with his father, Curtis Robertson Jr. and his grandfather (The late Curtis Robertson Sr.), traveling around South Texas helping out when and where he could in their ministries, as they preached in various churches and held old time tent revivals. In November of 2000, RickyRay began attending Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas and there became involved in the single's ministry as an MVP, and in 2006 became the Praise and Worship Leader for Lakewood Church's Celebrate Recovery ministry. Towards the end of 2006, he began a simple Bible study in his home, and by 2007 the foundations of a new church had been laid. In 2008 i-Church International was born. With a longing for the passion and the simplicity of the old time tent revivals, i-Church International began having once a month, all day BBQs to spread the Word of God in rural areas of Texas. Within four months, 12 pastors came on board and the “BBQ Tour” ( as it is referred to) has continued to grow under the motto “ Have Pit Will Travel!”

With humor, insight, direction of the Holy Spirit and good old fashioned story telling, RickyRay brings simple sermons to life. Laughter is great medicine, but make no mistake, the pastor of i-Church International has the heart of a warrior; brash and unashamed to speak the truth, yet filled with compassion for a lost and dying world. As one member of i-Church International once said,“If you took Jesus, Braveheart and Robin Williams, and mixed them all together, you would have our pastor!”

RickyRay has been blessed with many talents pertaining to the Arts: Author, composer, musician, songwriter, and artist, all being used to further the Kingdom of God, and to bring glory to Jesus Christ. The goal of i-Church International is two fold: to bring the lost into the knowledge of Jesus Christ, and to promote those called into ministry. To date, i-Church International has touched lives in 30 different countries.
